Jett Lawrence Reclaims 450MX Championship Lead at Unadilla

Defending 450MX champion Jett Lawrence has once again taken control of the 2026 AMA Pro Motocross 450 Championship series standings. His decisive 2-1 moto performance at the Unadilla National was enough to overcome the deficit he faced heading into the ninth round of the eleven-round season.

His brother, Hunter Lawrence, had entered Unadilla with a slight points advantage, having led the series after the previous round. Hunter managed to secure a victory in the opening moto, extending his lead to fifteen points. However, a crucial second-moto crash significantly impacted his overall result and allowed Jett to capitalize.

The Unadilla National is renowned for its demanding terrain, often testing the endurance and skill of riders to their absolute limits. This year's event was no exception, with riders battling not only each other but also the challenging track conditions, making Jett's consistent performance even more impressive.

With only two rounds remaining in the 2026 season, Jett Lawrence now holds a narrow lead, setting the stage for an intense showdown in the final races. The battle between the Lawrence brothers is far from over, promising an exciting conclusion to what has already been a thrilling championship.
